NSW: Court decision on Rivkin sentence appeal

Disgraced former stockbroker RENE RIVKIN will today learn whether his conviction for
insider trading is to be quashed.

The New South Wales Court of Criminal Appeal will deliver it's decision on an appeal
lodged by RIVKIN against his conviction and sentence for insider trading at 2pm (AEDT).

The 59-year-old was convicted in April last year on the insider trading charge involving
Qantas shares, and sentenced to nine months periodic detention.
