Vic: Terror group thought community suspicious of activities

MELBOURNE, Feb 21 AAP - Members of an alleged Melbourne terrorist group thought their
community suspected them of committing "the forbidden and the abominable", the Victorian
Supreme Court heard today.

The group had panicked after one of the members, Shoue Hammoud, had been warned by
his father that the police were watching them.

Mohammed Hammoud urged his son to stay away from the group and its leader Abdul Nacer
Benbrika after he had been told they planned to "blow up Australia".
